We use information to run the journey-sharing service, manage accounts, show relevant journey details, send notifications, support payments and payouts where available, respond to support requests, improve reliability, reduce misuse, and meet legal or safety responsibilities.

Identity, driver, and vehicle checks

Some features may require identity, driver, or vehicle information. Checks help reduce risk, but they do not guarantee that every journey or user is risk-free. We may use service providers where needed to support verification and account checks.

Payments and payouts

Payment and payout information may be used to process accepted bookings, record fees, handle refunds or disputes, and support driver payout readiness where those features are enabled. Payment details may be shared with a payment provider where needed to operate the service.

Location and emergency sharing

Location or trip progress information may be used for live journey features and emergency sharing where enabled. Emergency sharing is a support tool for trusted contacts and is not a replacement for local emergency services.

Uploads and evidence

Uploads may include profile photos, identity evidence, driver or vehicle documents, and support evidence. Access is limited to what is needed for account, safety, support, or operational review.

Messages and support

Messages, notifications, and support requests may be used to help passengers and drivers coordinate journeys, resolve issues, and investigate reports. Support outcomes are not guaranteed.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep the service secure and working. Preference storage remembers choices such as theme and cookie settings. Analytics or measurement tools may be used only where enabled and where the required choices have been provided.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, manage safety and support issues, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational requirements. Retention periods may vary by record type.
